Tommy Exits 91X

By Joe Nelson

I don't have a whole lot to go on. This just came down the pike.

Tommy Hough is no longer at 91X.

Mornings will resume on Monday with Danielle Stuht. I'll keep you posted when I learn more.

San Diego Radio - Starting to Rumble

By Joe Nelson

I know SanDiegoRadio has been quiet lately, easy explanation... San Diego Radio itself has been quiet.

I know how the trend usually goes. This is probably the calm before the storm. I've seen it many times before.

Here are a few nuggets to hit the dial recently:

1) Congratulations to Beto Perez! Beto, formerly of iHeart's Jam'n 95.7, 7-12AM. He will be hopping over to CBS Radio's ENERGY 103.7 for the 3-7PM shift.

2) Speaking of CBS Radio, an insider has told SDR there will be a press release 'very soon regarding the merger with Entercom'

3) Entercom SD has sold its 92.1 (KSON North County) signal to Educational Media Foundation and will become KLOVE. Los Angeles' 100.3 The Sound will also flip to KLOVE. KLOVE will be heard all over the dial now, 100.1 Julian, 96.1 Santee, 102.1 San Diego, 92.1 Santee and another translator in Oceanside.

As always, Stay Tuned
