Haze Named PD at KMYI

San Diego, Calif. – July 10, 2017 – iHeartMedia San Diego announced today that Joe Haze has been named Program Director for STAR 94.1, San Diego’s Best Music Variety, Celebrity Gossip, Entertainment and Music News, effective immediately. iHeartMedia San Diego has a strong cross-platform presence, massive consumer reach and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises – both broadcast and digital – including Channel 93.3, STAR 94.1, KGB-FM, ROCK 105.3, JAM’N 95.7, KOGO: 600 AM, XTRA 1360 FOX Sports SD – and legendary on-air programming including Kramer and Geena, Frankie V, Shelley Wade and Jesse Lozano.

Haze currently serves as Program Director for Channel 93.3 and afternoon drive host for STAR 94.1. In his newly expanded role, Haze will serve as program director for both Channel 93.3 and STAR 94.1, while continuing to serve as afternoon drive host on STAR 94.1. Haze previously worked as night host at Channel 93.3. Before moving to San Diego, he worked at WAPE-FM and WJBT-FM in Jacksonville, FL, and KZZP-FM in Phoenix, AZ.
