Not too much is known as to why, but Don Shafer, News Director at SD6 has exited the building.
Don made news on his own recently when he disclosed he worked with Vester Lee Flanagan, the Virginia gunman who shot and killed a reporter and her MMJ while the camera was rolling.
When SanDiegoRadio learns more, I will publish the details here.

Apparently Heather Myers has left CW 6 as well and will be going (back) to CBS 8 soon...
Just saw a promo for Heather on cbs 8. They sure are plucking the crew at 6.
