91X Brings The Death Star to The Force Awakens

SAN DIEGO, CA – Radio station 91X and local apparel company J!nx are making opening night of the blockbuster movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens even more memorable with dozens of characters in Star Wars ‘cosplay’ and a set piece from the original Star Wars.

Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, the San Diego Star Wars Society will be at Cinépolis Vista with J!NX and 91X with 25 members/cosplay characters from episodes 1-7.  Attendees can take pictures with San Diego Star Wars Society cosplay characters in front of a 20ft X 8ft Death Star door set piece from the original set of Star Wars.

During this special event, Star Wars figures, artwork, collectibles and official Star Wars app posters will be up for silent auction for the Make A Wish Foundation to benefit children with terminal illness.  Lee Kohse, official artist/designer/illustrator for Lucasfilm Ltd., will also be on-site doing sketches of Star Warscharacters.
