UNIRADIO Appoints New Director of Sales

UNIRADIO announced a restructuring of its sales operations to further develop existing advertising relationships and new local, national and international sales.

Mari Pili Becerra assumes duties as Director of Sales, along with Public Relations Administrator for San Diego-Tijuana border community affairs.

UNIRADIO San Diego’s Ricardo Astiazaran, Vice President and General Manager stated, “Mari Pili is an executive with 21 years experience in television and radio, in sales, promotions and marketing. She has been highly effective in her prior roles with Energy Communications U.S. Representative for Televisa TV, Entravision San Diego Univision, Telemundo, Telefutura, MYTV 13, Univision Radio in Phoenix, La Nueva and Recuerdo , CBS Radio in Phoenix Camel Country, Kool, CBS Radio San Diego KYXY, The Planet, and former San Diego Califormula Broadcasting Group Radio Latina, Jammin’ Z-90 and X99.

In commenting on the Company’s new strategy, Ricardo Astiazaran said: “This is a good time for this move. Our radio stations are gaining momentum with our growing listenership and solid ratings.
