Traffic Manager

Local Media San Diego is looking for a Traffic Manager to work closely with the sales, programming, production and finance departments.  Responsibilities include producing and reconciling the daily commercial programming log, inputting broadcast orders, managing inventory, scheduling commercial copy and maintaining traffic records. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and the ability to work with constantly changing environments.  Must be proficient in Marketron  and Prophet/Nexgen

- Key sales orders into the system for subsequent billing and logs
- work "bumps" on the logs to prevent lost revenue
- run reports for sales managers and sales staff daily
- daily logs for on-air staff maintains final log and report production schedules
- affidavits for appropriate networks and advertisers
- training co-workers as to practices and procedures for the company
- must also have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, ie Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Windows environment

The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive and to perform other such duties as may be required for the efficient operations of the stations.
