JN: How are things with you right now? Life, work….. EG: Life is great! I just finished my first year on The Show and it has been a year full of learning and adjusting to the inner workings of a new show. Coming from many years being on The Jeff and Jer Showgram there was a ton of changing and adjustments. The routine and way the show works is different in so many ways. I feel like I have grown more this year in my career then ever before.

Wolfman Jack Joins Pala Rez Radio

The Wolfman Lives On! … Rez Radio.

Pala Rez Radio 91.3 FM has secured the exclusive Southern California broadcast rights to The Wolfman Jack Show.  The Wolfman will be heard five nights a week at 6 beginning with his Halloween Special on Saturday, October 31 as part of six hours of special Rez Halloween programming.  The WJS will assume its permanent slot every Tuesday through Saturday starting at 6p beginning November 3.

Wolfman Jack, whose real name was Robert Smith – same as the Chairman of the Pala Band of Mission Indians – hmmm, you don’t suppose … nah, couldn’t be.  Anyway, Wolfman Jack’s rise to become America’s most well-known disc jockey brought him from Mexican border blaster, 250,000-watt XERF in Ciudad Acuña across from Del Rio, Texas to a similar station in Rosarita, Baja California in the mid-1960s – XERB, 1090 AM where he howled for years on tapes shipped across the border from offices in Chula Vista and later, Hollywood.  Those shows were then beamed up th…

SOCAL TACO FEST ANNOUNCES MUSIC LINEUP NELLY WILL HEADLINE AREA’S LARGEST TACO FESTIVAL AT WATERFRONT PARK ON MAY 18

(San Diego, CA) Recording artist Nelly will headline the musical entertainment at SoCal Taco Fest, happening Saturday, May 18 at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. Arise Roots and DJ D-Rock are also confirmed to perform, and more artists will be announced soon.

SoCal Taco Fest will feature over 25 of the best taco restaurants in the Southern California region, a lineup of national and local music acts, Lucha Libre wrestling, Chihuahua races and beauty pageant, and the Milagro Cantina – a tented bar with custom-crafted margaritas poured to a live DJ.
